Can you burn all the zombies in the mansion?
I've been avoiding zombies for the most part, and only killing (and then burning them) when absolutely needed or if it's a corridor I go through a lot and they are in the way. This tends to leave a lot of zombies roaming around, which made me think...

Is there actually enough oil available in the mansion to kill & burn them all?

Each can of oil only has 5 or so uses of oil it in, and I can only really think of 3 cans in the game - maybe there's more, but I just never checked too much since avoiding zombies was easy enough. And there are more than 15 zombies I believe, so that wouldn't be enough oil I believe?

Another related question - would a zombie auto die to a grenade launcher attack from Jill? I've never actually wasted any ammo trying this. Guess I should. lol. Or it it one of those rng things - if I'm lucky the head 'explodes', but if unlucky it just does damage and needs to be burned (assuming using standard explosive ammo)?

What about fire / acid rounds? Would a zombie killed with an fire and/or acid grenade round get 'burned' or not? Another thing I've never tried.

(I'd check, but can't access the game right now as I'm visiting family)

Pretty sure there is, and if you'd like you could wait for a zombie to come close to you and blow their brains out with a shotgun. (You will have to aim up)

There is 5 total, locations are here, if needed, very minor spoilers inside:

Yeah, shotgun is the way to go.

1. You destroy their head.
Good, you don't need to burn the corpse.

2. You kill them without removing the head.
The worst case, they change into a crimson head. You need 1-3 shells to put them down again.

I'm not sure how to use the grenade launcher. Maybe you can save the ammo just in case you run out of shotgun shells. Or use it to burn some zombies.

Its impossible to burn every single zombie in the game. There isnt enough oil so you just have to choose wisely.

Burn some, blow some brains out. Dodge Some very easily dodge-able ones.

Easy. :)

Grenade Launcher w/ Fire rounds works a treat (Kills them & no risk of them becoming C/H)

In mansion, some zombies are replaced by hunters right?

Yes. If you don't kill them I'm pretty sure all or most leave when hunters appear.

There's not enough kerosine in the game to do that. However you can make most of what you have. If you need to kill zombies in an area try to lure and kill them in a way that they pile up and you can burn all the ones you wanted to kill in the room with one use of the flask.

Save it for areas you will most likely pass multiple times eg. outside of save rooms.

I hope there is a kill everything achievement.

There isn't. There's a much more fun knife only achievement though.

Like the Zombie on the balcony above the Dining room, no need to waste any effort on him.
