There is no reason to remake RE1 again...

Capcom had an interview on summer and they said that it's not laughable to Remake RE1 again. In my opinion there is no point to remake this game again, they already remade it once and they even remastered the remake for modern systems, added achievements, cloud saves, and new controls. This game is perfect as it is, I would want Capcom to rather focus on making new games, and push the franchise forward rather than remake every game they have. Same goes to RE4. Just finished that game recently again and it aged very well, with the HD textures and the modern control scheme. The only games that need a remake after RE2 is RE3 and maybe Code Veronica. I know that the OTS fanboys would love a RE1 Remake in that style, but do we really need every game to be the same?? I mean come on people, this is getting ridiculous... If there will be another RE1 Remake it's 100% that I'm NOT going to buy it.

I played ALL Resident Evil games, with the exception of Code Veronica.

And I believe, that one day Capcom will remake the 2 jewels RE1 + RE0. They can keep all the puzzles or make some of them in RE0 more logic.

Nobody is forced to play a remake. Who would dislike it, can stay with this remake, we all have.

i dont like the new resident evil games there also reimaginings not remakes so many people fail to know this. look it up on the official resident evil website. if game play is no longer the same as its original it cant be a remake. i loved all resident evil games up to 4. 5 and on is all trash to me...all these games may carry the same story/character assets and what not but they are far from what originaly made the resident evil name what it is today and its a shame to see it disrespected by almost 2 decades of ots action orientated not scary ♥♥♥♥. i can only imagine how good they could make a game look using the same methods they did for resident evil 1 on gamecube but making it to use the power of todays hardware. oh my god... i dont doubt it would look like life seeing as how good resident evil from cube looks today even with a simple remaster for hd...

Yeah I agree Resident Evil HD is pretty much the perfect remake. I'm looking forward to RE 4 remake because the original is one of my all time favorite games. If it can get the RE 2 remake treatment is should be an amazing game.

Why can't capcom just use already existing characters,give them a personality and make games linked to them?(Carlos Olivera,HUNK,Ada Wong,Billy Coen,Outbreak cast,Sheva,Josh,Moira and Jake),but no,instead we got RE 7 and RE village.

That's because Capcom realized they have run into a wall with RE6, I enjoyed the game, but it was not Resident Evil.
Ada is not suitable main character, but she is a perfect supporting one.
Umbrella guys are not really suitable to have a full game about them either, it would need to be a weird spinoff to make sense anyway, especially about HUNK, Carlos however I could see joining BSAA in the future.
