Patch For Resident Evil (Fixes Slow Motion)

This patch worked for me and the game is running perfectly fine now. This is the video I used that helped me.

Anyone else with the same issue with slow motion,etc. This patch should fix all that for ya.

I will be doing this for a friend, does she need to do the run as admin thing or will the steam launcher work fine?

The video says to do it with admin. I've yet to try it without running as admin.

If possible could you try launching it the normal method though steam and see if its fixed? The person im helping with this isnt terrible tech savvy so it will be easier for her to just go though steam. My comp can run it fine without any alterations so I cant personally test it.

Worked for me from what I could tell,so admin probably isn't needed. If it runs bad still,you'll have to turn the graphics down some.

Welcome,but yeah I noticed no one ever posted this patch from what I could see and decided to do it myself. For me the graphics don't really effect anything besides the textures,I got them set to high and everything else turned off or set to low.

From my notice it doesn't need a cracked exe. You install it and then run the game

Downloaded the patch, exported it directly to the folder of the game, accidentaly double clicked on the app, closed it really quickly and run as administrator.
When I start the game now (both from steam or as administrator from the folder) it shows black screen and shuts down after 3 seconds.
Would redownload the whole game, but it is my first run and I am 15 hours into it.

The same thing is happening to me. I tried fixing the files through steam, but they didn't fix. Tried just deleting the fix ini. That didn't work. Oh well.

Just download the executable and replace the old one, worked like a charm
