It's not troubling me, I haven't really played with him yet, I just don't like the idea of one zombie that if you damage at all it ends the game. I know you can just avoid him. But I would rather play NG+ with out him.

It's very unlikely that'll one shot you, infact only happend once in my play through. Shotguns help a ton, recoils them, plus massive damage.

I though if at all you shoot him he blows up the mansion.

Really? I thought if you damage him with defense items or anything the grenades strapped to him blow up. Like I said I haven't played it yet thats just what I heard.

Which Zombie are you talking about? No zombie blows up and instantly kills you or ends the gamer if you shoot it.

Oh wow never heard of this. But if you read it really closely you have to beat it once on Jill and Chris and play a special mode to activeate this, so you're fine.

So let me guess, your monitor is not exactly 16:9 aspect ratio?
It is possible to get a near perfect full screen, but you'll need a third-party program called REHDHOOK and you'll also need lots of time to figure out proper config values to make it work for you.

you can avoid his mode actually.
it only unlocks if you beat the game with jill AND chris on the SAME savefile and only if you beat the game on NORMAL or higher with both.

if you make a new save for chris for example if you played as jill first you wont have to deal with him in jills NG+.

no clue why they didnt add the option to turn it off. also dont listen to zeus. you cannot shot him at all. you cannot even use a dagger or grenade or anything againist him. even a knife slash would make him blow up and then you just get the game over screen instantly no matter what difficulty.

he is avoidable but still stupid to be forced in.

but clever use of savegames prevents haveing to deal with him.

I already have a bunch of completed saves built up over the years but I've always kept Jill saves separate from Chris saves.

I just started a brand new Chris normal and finished it. I need the Passion for Fashion achievement so I can play as Chris-normal again and then 2x as Jill easy and get it without activating Forest, right?

What if on that file I instead do Jill-normal and trigger him. Will any of my other past save slots have Forest in them now too if I new game+ them, or will he only appear in Once Again modes started from this new Christ/Jill save?

You can defeat he with the knife in the stairs, is more or less dificult because take time, but you have the facility not to be affected by bites.
