Are movies worth watching?

Hello. I am considering watching the Resident Evil movies and I would like to know your opinions on them. Also, I would like to know if they have anything to do with games.

THE CG are okay but not great. Just stay away from the Live action one.

The dead trilogy(night of, dawn of, dawn of REMAKE, day of) and the walking dead is not anything like the Resident Evil film series. How come people are able to compare bananas to potatoes?

They're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful and have nothing to do with the games.

The CG movies are bad, but at least tie somehow better with the games, they're harmless, and if you like resident evil as a game franchise, for that alone worth watching.

I love them a lot.
And I love the games a lot as well.
It all depends really. A lot of RE fans hate it and a lot love it.
I also really love Alice/Milla Jovovich and enjoy her in the role despite the fact she's not in the games. Sure, they are not Oscar material but they are damn good fun movies to watch. For me at least. Although I do find myself complaining here and there (was very disappointed by Retribution and The Final Chapter but that's due to studio interference) I just enjoy them for what they are, Resident Evil-in-name-only.

I would suggest just watching the CGI films rather than the live action.

The live action films are ♥♥♥♥. The CGI films aren't much better.

The CGI Movies are from Capcom and they are the offical story between the game titles.They are okay and worth watching since they are game story. Example: You can find a little bit of sense in RE6 (so that it isn't total bs) if you have watched the CGI movies. Damnation is the movie title for this game part. My favourite is Degeneration; 4d-Exec is only a short movie (but there is a special cinema for this!). Haven't seen the new one, vendetta. Remember: They are all b-movies with a average rating of ~6.4, but worth watching since they are game story.

The Hollywood movies are licences name-r-ape. A Fetish Movie Collection for Anderson (regi) and his wife Mila (main actor). Part 1 had potential but the rest was pure fetish or simply a casual cash cow (maybe both). anyways it was a shame for the title... it has also changed the game. 4,5,6.... that's the games after hollywood has started with his >action< movies.(while the first cgi is so old, he has almost re1orig resolution)
