Not skins no. The video is basically a tutorial on how to get your name into the game. You can use the trove creator to actually make a lair and weapons and submit them to the devs to see if they get put into the game. That is why when you pick up a weapon it says "Made by."

You can, there's actually a fairly active modding community for the game. (skins, costumes, mounts and such things.)
