How do u get different armour?

I have been having this same armour u get from the beginning of the game, but its making me feel like a noob...

Well, it's costumes. You unlock costumes for your class when you reach lvl 10 and lvl 20 (xp), and you can buy other costumes on the store.
And when you put gears into your loot collector, you unlock "styles" for you weapon, hat, and face.

If you mean faces and such too, There's masks and hats. some combinations of which can make you look all sorts of different. Some people also have costume sets like you might have sen the mad scientist one for the Pirate captain. Usually you have to buy those fancier total conversion costumes in the shops, But there's a chance to get mystery costume boxes from some of the upper tier caches, so you can get them that way too.
