i cant fish
i keep on pressing f and nothing happens

i boght the fishing rod and lure and still cant fish.

Did you at least equip the fishing rod and have the lure in your inventory? (although you probably don't need lures in your inventory.)

Have you equipped the rod in it's slot? Have you got the lures on you, in your inventory? Re what Solance asked, he was meaning that unlike most 'craft' items the lures won't work if they're in a chest.
