Ancient scales too rare?

This is dumb guys, I cant get any rare fish for ancient scales, I think rare fish should be easier to catch, I want to build the SS corgi ship but cannot even get 1 rare fish D: please help me by telling me the best way to catch a rare fish.

best way is simply to keep on doing it until you get one. if I might ask, about how much time have you actually spent fishing and how many fish have you caught?

These things are rare for a reason, but with patience, they'll come. if they weren't so rare, they wouldn't be called... rare. :P

I get one probably every 100 lures. It's not that bad, but it is boring lol

I have too many Ancient Scales from when I was collecting fish trophies. (I quit fishing when I decided to work on my Club World to make room for trophies.)
Rare fish get to be pretty common when you're fishing all day.

I always get 2-3 rare fish in a row after about 90-95 lures.

Scales aint so expensive. If you got 1k flux in your pocket you surely buy one. I got one and dont need it. Ill can sell it to you for only 200f. Im not a greedy ♥♥♥♥♥ :D

Why do you play games?
Do you play them to have fun and be entertained?
Or do you play them to stare at the screen and click the mouse every 5 seconds cause you caught a fish.
