Same thing with me, everytime I launch trove the file returns to the folder, if you want to know the file name it is iggy_w32.dll .
i simply excluded it from my antivirus and firewall. But i disabled web acess for it.

Yeah, so thats a glitch with the new update, its not a virus, never has been, dont worry. Also, never heard of webroot, try finding a more well-known and stable antivirus too.

ok i got trove to work so the name is iggy.w32.dll thats the threat and the infection Pua.Adware.Crosswire
should i remove or keep it

Keep it, it isn't a virus, .dll files are sometimes mistaken for viruses by some antiviruses

Actually, "Pua.Adware.Crosswire" is basically used maliciously to basically hijack your browser, so it looks at Ads etc to increase the companies revenue from ads. More information here:

While adware does do this, iggy_w32.dll is very unlikely to be said virus, as it's been in the game since release, and if it WERE a virus, Steam would catch on quite quickly.

I had this problem too, don't let Webroot scan it, if it does then you have to repair, uninstall, and restart a few processes to get it back because that .dll file is required to start the game.

Solution: get rid of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ antivirus and get one that doesn't shoot false positives off left and right.

If you're using Windows, just get Microsoft Security Essentials and be done. As long as you don't go downloading suspicious ♥♥♥♥ in the first place, you'll be fine.

I have been.
