Best starter class

Haven't seen a guide about this, so I thought I'd make a post. I'm scoping the game out before I force my group of friends to play, so I'm not sure what classes they'll choose, but it looks like I get first pick. I've heard you can change classes later, but which one might be the best to start with? I'm fine with either melee or ranged.

The best damge is actually the pirate captain but he has to be in their face to actuallynuse his automatic attack. In my opinion the boomeranger, the ice sage, the shadow hunter, the candy barbarian, gunslinger, and neon ninja are really good. All classes are really good but if you want to annoy the crap out of people in pvp when you reach mastery rank 10, go to the neon ninja because he is just....... i wont spoil it for you just go experience it yourself. But when you do it its really funny though.

And the wh is his passive which marks enemies in which they become shadow marked, meaning you can see them tbrough any obstacle and with your first ability, the radiant arrow, can peirce through walls and deals 5x than regular, but if shadow marked 10x and easier to hit through walls.

You could try to google which class is better for what you wanna do or take some random one, earn free cubits each days and maybe buy another class when you'll be able to.
Or try looking for youtube gameplay videos for each class to make up your mind. There's a lot of possibilities.

For me, i ended up leveling my pirate captain first as i find it easier to manage the mobs around me while nuking them from afar.

the classes are reasonably even, just pick the one that looks most fun to you. btw, you can always buy new classes after buy earning Cubits by playing the game.

I ended up picking Shadow Hunter, since Tomb Raiser wasn't in the list of available starter classes (otherwise, I would've picked that one). Having a lot of fun shooting stuff through walls. My second class will probably be a tank.
