Question on creating a house

If i create my own world/house can I make it so someone else I want to play with can edit it?
I want to co-own a house with someone.
Also super new to the game, so tips for someone brand new starting?

Club Worlds are like a very large scale guild housing system. You can adjust permissions based on how well you know other players. You can invite other players to join as well, just keep their permissions restricted so they don't have access to take your items, or build/destroy in your Club World.

But be warned , if the person you give permission to build in your club world turns into a griefer he/she can destroy your entire world! So keep that in mind when picking a person to help build....

You can create a club card in one of the crafting tables.. it's the builder's table, I believe. It's nice because our club world is like our own little sanctuary that only we can build in.

If you guys decide to build a club world- the cornerstones are 16x16. So, if you want, just lay out out a 32x16 slab and build on that. You could separate the two halves with two different shades of grey, as well. Additionally, if you need to farm cubes to build with- give the boomeranger a go. Have fun :)
