Does The Shadow Hub Still Exist?
I've read posts from 2014-2015 about the fabled Shadow Hub, Cloud Portals, and Shadow Maze that all supposedly exist in the Hub World.

Does anyone know if any of these things still exist? I'm very curious as to if flying past Hub for an hour or so will get me there, like so many people have done in the past.

Yes it does. I've been there myself. It is there where the porter potty mount came from.

Hmm, ok because i went out about 27,000 units South of the Hub, and never saw it. Porter Potty mount? haven't heard of that. I've heard Homeworlds(ClubWorlds) have the Cloud Portals too. I'll have to try that next. I always take an Ally with Superstition too, just in case. (I still don't think anyone knows for sure what Superstition actually does.)

the secret hub is west of the spawn, i got the porter potty about a month ago

When you are in hub, you must travel on WEST and when u reach the "slowly killing watter" continue and on a cloud ( mayby 20 cubes high) is a purple portal. Just get in and get your porter potty or whatever you want (if you build cornerstone there are caves under it)

Ok, so I found it, I'm assuming they made it so it doesn't change locations randomly like it used to? Also, I have a few questions about the Shadow Hub:

- Why are there a bunch of dragons named Saltwater Sam?
- Is there anything hidden out on sea in the Shadow Hub?
- Is there anything worth looking for in the Shadow Maze?

I have a theory about the sign that says: "Qubesly says: This world won't be around forever, so don't get too attached to it."

I don't think that sign means the Shadow Hub will disappear, I think the Shadow Hub is what will become our main hub when they introduce the Everdark content. Basically it means that our entire Trove world will be overrun with darkness, I have a feeling the Everdark won't be a separate biome, I think all the current biomes will be "darkened" or overrun with the Everdark, and that's what the sign means: That our world that we've gotten so used to dungeon-running in, and flying in, from the Fae Wilds to the Highlands, will all disappear. Like I said, just a theory, but I have a feeling the endgame Everdark content will be literally all the players trying to save the world of Trove.

Everdark? o.O you mean that Mantle of Power spoopy islands thing?

Maybe I've been away from Trove too long... lol I have no idea what you're talking about. I just started playing Trove again about a week ago, after a half-year break. Everdark was just a rumor going around that there would be some new "dark" biome called the Everdark. That's all I know.

Well I just checked out The Mantle of Power update notes. It HAS been too long since I last played Trove lol

I am aware. Please read the thread.

I am seeking answers for my questions about the Shadow Hub and the Shadow Maze now, again, the questions are:

- Why are there a bunch of dragons named Saltwater Sam?
- Is there anything hidden out on sea in the Shadow Hub?
- Is there anything worth looking for in the Shadow Maze?

Hmm, ok. Thanks everyone, it looks like the only people that have the answers to these questions would be the devs, which have kept all of Trove's secrets quiet for a couple years now, so I guess we get to play the waiting game. Perhaps the Mantle of Power update will help unravel some of Trove's mysteries.

To be honest, half of what keeps me interested in Trove lately is the mysteries and secrets surrounding it. I love that kind of stuff.

Trove's current mysteries, that I know of, are:

- The Everdark (new biome? perhaps a connection to the upcoming Undead Sky Realm?)

- The Superstition stat. (It definitely might do something)

- The Shadow Hub/Maze (Aside from the PorterPotty Mount, the Shadow Hub is empty and serves no current purpose. It's very bizarre and unnerving, perhaps a hint of what's to come?)

I might start a new thread concerning these mysteries, and hopefully Trovians can come together to help fill in the blanks on Trove's darkest secrets.
