- Why are there a bunch of dragons named Saltwater Sam?
- Is there anything hidden out on sea in the Shadow Hub?
- Is there anything worth looking for in the Shadow Maze?
I have a theory about the sign that says: "Qubesly says: This world won't be around forever, so don't get too attached to it."
I don't think that sign means the Shadow Hub will disappear, I think the Shadow Hub is what will become our main hub when they introduce the Everdark content. Basically it means that our entire Trove world will be overrun with darkness, I have a feeling the Everdark won't be a separate biome, I think all the current biomes will be "darkened" or overrun with the Everdark, and that's what the sign means: That our world that we've gotten so used to dungeon-running in, and flying in, from the Fae Wilds to the Highlands, will all disappear. Like I said, just a theory, but I have a feeling the endgame Everdark content will be literally all the players trying to save the world of Trove.
I am seeking answers for my questions about the Shadow Hub and the Shadow Maze now, again, the questions are:
- Why are there a bunch of dragons named Saltwater Sam?
- Is there anything hidden out on sea in the Shadow Hub?
- Is there anything worth looking for in the Shadow Maze?
To be honest, half of what keeps me interested in Trove lately is the mysteries and secrets surrounding it. I love that kind of stuff.
Trove's current mysteries, that I know of, are:
- The Everdark (new biome? perhaps a connection to the upcoming Undead Sky Realm?)
- The Superstition stat. (It definitely might do something)
- The Shadow Hub/Maze (Aside from the PorterPotty Mount, the Shadow Hub is empty and serves no current purpose. It's very bizarre and unnerving, perhaps a hint of what's to come?)
I might start a new thread concerning these mysteries, and hopefully Trovians can come together to help fill in the blanks on Trove's darkest secrets.
