Has Trove become dark souls?
Hello fellow gamers and gamets. It's me, Wigd. I am back with another review for a game that is very similar to dark souls. Trove.

Dark souls is a third person adventure game that is known for it's punishing but fair difficulty due to many design choices.

Trove is a voxel builder mmo with teeth grindingly annoying and ruthless difficulty, insane unique mechanics, and much more. Well, actually, unique may not be the correct term used to describe the mechanics.

One such mechanic is cornerstones. This is something that allows players to respawn at a new location similar to how in dark souls, bonfires allow players to respawn at each new bonfire.

Another mechanic that is similar between dark souls and Trove are the dungeons. In dark souls, there are dungeons. In trove, there are also dungeons. These dungeons are similar because they are very easy and can be beaten by a baby with a toothpick in both games.

The last comparison i'll make is the weapons. Dark souls has many weapons and almost all of them play completely different from their counterparts. In Trove, there are several weapon types that play differently. Additionally, in Trove, all classes use weapons differently. For example, the neon ninja uses a sword to slash in multiple different directions including diagnol, horizontal, vertical, and straight. The knight uses his sword to slash enemies horizantally. Also, in both games, the weapons can be upgraded to basically break the game.

My final thoughts. Dark souls and Trove are very similar and the childish communites surrounding both games should have seen the similarities sooner. Now if you don't mind me, i'm going out on a date with a hot girl gamer I found on pinterest.
