Trove started journey in November 13, 2013 with Alpha version of the game.
Closed Beta test was launched on September 25, 2014 & Open Beta on November 4, 2014.
Steam & console versions of the game went in open beta on December 13, 2016.
But in a way game still in development, fixing bugs & errors all time.
That why most of us still play it with heavy lag
I feel it’s journey not end with soon & There are long way to go.
Trove community all time gives new ideas to help to smooth gameplay & developments.
If you feel you are wasting your money, you can choose free to play option & see which way it’s going.
If you happy for its journey you can give donations for developers for their hard work.
It’s up to you.
Future can’t say & always be changing with dissections we made in present.
Shutting down or not up with Trove community & players.
Actually Only Trove Developers can say anything about this matter correctly.
We can enjoy playing it till end.
Bluehole Games are the Developers who make updates and burn the money and want it shut down.
Trion will run a game on life support for years (Defiance is basically a singleplayer game at this point) before putting it down and Trove is nowhere near that.
