what happened to my account?
I wanted to get back into trove after playing it for 125 hours, then not touching it for months. I tried to log back into my account, then I noticed when trying to do so, it asked me "What would you like to be called?". I was confused, I had a character already, I was logged into the right account, I excited and tried all three regions and nothing. Then I tried to just use the same name as my old character it said that the name was already taken. I later looked up this problem and I saw someone say that if you aren't online for a given amount of time, your account will be erased, idk if its true or not though. Please someone help.

*also I did submit a request and its been days since with no other response*

EDIT: Gamigo has replied back to me this morning (Nov 18th) at 8:25 A.M and said this
"Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. We apologised for the late reply. We are aware that some of our players still have this issue. We have forwarded your information on the 30th to our developers. They are trying to fix this issue as soon as possible. Please be aware that, due to the large amount of request, we might not be able to handle your request as soon as we would like to.

This message is to keep you on the loop and reassure you that we are taking care of your issue. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Also, if we can assist you with anything else, please let us know.

Sometimes when you launch the game that will happen, usually restarting the game will fix it however if not then try signing out and back in again, that should hopefully fix it, if not then you might have to wait for a response from support, if they even respond, they usually take a while...

The exact thing happened to my brother. Weird. He also had something like 164 hours. Tried to join to the game with the correct email but he is level 0. We played together alot back then too we contacted the support and we are still waiting for a response but we dont have much time to play it again so I hope they will be quick to respond.

so were u able to get your account back? i have about 130 hours and just decided i wanted to try the game again and when i logged in i faced the same problem

so far I havn't recieved an email back from the gamigo support group (a group of different game companies such as glyph). I've tried just about anything I could think of and nothing worked, I posted the same thing on reddit and didn't get many responces. The best option so far would be waiting for them to reply, it could take a long time though. I may have not of gotten my account back but I hope you do!

I'd hate to lose all the progress I had on the game, so if you get any updates on this issue feel free to add me and tell me about it

I wish Trove had proper steam linking. I never played the steam version until recently, but all of my progress wasn't linked from my Trion Worldsd account despite glyph stating steam was successfully linked.

In past like 1~2 years ago all Trove usernames/accounts had a reset during a specific time. You had to log-in once during that period of time to keep your username & progress.

I've had the exact same problem. In the club leaderboard it even showed my PR that I had but my account is completely new looking.

exact same thing happened to me. logging into the glyph website with my account info shows a history of classes/mounts i purchased with in game currency but when i log on i have none of it and am level 1

well, I still havnt gotten an email back from the support group and I sent out my ticket on the 29 of October
