The Dragon Fire Peaks biome is the best biome to mine in in my opinion. This is due to caves being more common in this biome. Caves are easier to mine in as the ores are more frequent and there are no mobs to bother you.

Dragon Fire Peaks is first accessible in Uber-5 so I would say Uber-5 is the best Uber to obtain golden souls in.

During this holiday event all bonuses are on so you are getting double golden souls when mining them (i think) and there is probably twice as many people mining them during the holiday. The price has plummetted on the market from a low of 500flux to dipping below 300flux. I am assuming you want to get 100 golden souls to form a club?

Unless someone grabs control of the market which they have (just looked at the price) and all golden souls that were under 500flux have been bought and put back up on market for 500flux. However I would expect that when this person goes to bed or whatever the price will start dropping again.

Other things you could sell to get golden souls faster are the byproducts of your golden soul mining. I should mention you wont find golden souls in the Cursed Vale or Permafrost. In Cursed Vale you instead obtain Solem Souls and in Permafrost you obtain Glacial Shards. Solem Souls sell for 50flux each easily and Glacial Shards sell for 20flux each easily. In all cases if you see an opening underground go into it as the mining will be better. So sell the other three ores you will obtain while searching for golden souls.

When you check the market, for example Formicite (almost worthless) you will find that the first six results slots are prime real estate for selling. You can sell for alot more if you get your product into one of those first slots as rich and/or lazy people buy off of those first six slots. You however will will tab further back into the sell orders for the better deals when you are shopping. But back to the first six slots. Look at the total price. The total price is what determines if it appears in the first six slots as the lowest total prices are displayed first. Also look at the price per unit. Take their price per unit and minus 1flux or whater you think. Now take the total price and divide it by your price per unit(theirs minus one) and then subract one from that. This is how many units total will be in your sell order so that your total price is lower thus assuring that it is on the front page. And your price per unit is lower thus assuring that it will be chosen by the customer.

example:

their sell order was 100units at 5flux each for a total price of 500flux

your sell order will be 124units at 4flux each for a total price of 496flux

Dont fill up the six slots with your price or you may start a price war with the other sells and you wont sell anything. Instead just use one or two slots. You can do this for different products at once.

Dont worry too much about selling for less than the other sellers on the front page six slots as those slots are all grossly overpriced anyway. You should check back further into the sell order tabs to get a good idea of the items true value before setting your price.

I havent noticed a difference in golden soul rate in different ubers. But Ive just mined into uber6 and 7 a bit so cannot really say for certain.
