Linking account to ps4

So I just linked my account to my ps4 and when i got into the game all my classes and my rare mounts, skins, weapons, etc were all gone, so i was starting a new character..WTF where is all my ♥♥♥♥. I spent a lot of money on that game and its all gone? I really hope its a bug and not gone forever. A few people told me that they delete your account if you don't play for a few months, and thinking about that its ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, there is no way all my ♥♥♥♥ is gone forever, if so this game is gonna be like No Man's Sky. this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t I demand a ♥♥♥♥ing refund for my time i spent getting my loot, and the money i spent.

That's because Trion made it clear that your pc files wont be transferred to consoles. Everybody who starts console has a fresh new file for the CONSOLE ONLY. Your pc files are fine.

alright I'm glad that's out of the way and all my stuff is where it needs to be, thank you. But if i can't use my pc stuff, what's the point of linking your account then?

Its mostly there so you can redeem codes for ingame things succesfully.

Wtf is the point then? Why even link the account? The entire point of linking an account is the convenience of playing your PC character on your PS4 with a controller while sitting on your couch.

What's it even linking???? Nothing else matters. I stopped playing trove for a year on my computer, when I saw it came to PS4 I was very excited. Especially when it said "LINK YOUR ACCOUNT"

This is a bs move and honestly lazy on their part. There are plenty of games that allow character moving from PC to PS4.
FFXIV for example.
