Question about weapon upgrading

Lets say I loot a item with the 3 stats i need, (magicdmg, crit hit and dmg) but its rainbow, should i still upgrade it until its radiant? is that worth it? or do i keep grinding until i get the same stats on a shadow and upgrade that? do they end up being the same?

If you want radiant, you have to get a shadow drop from just grinding.
If you try to upgrade resplendent to max, you can't go any higher.

Like fawlowdeer said. Everything lower than shadow quality cannot be upgrading to the next tier. You can upgrade it if you wish to boost its stats but you will not turn it into a radiant.

So you can wait till you get a shadow drop with the top two stats that you want and start upgrading it. At first you can upgrade it with just eye and flux up to level 2. Then once you max it to level 2 you must create two more (junk) level 2 shadow items and salvage them. They will each give you a special ingredient that will allow you to upgrade your level 2 item to level 3. Resume upgrading with eye and flux till it requests 2 new ingredients. These ingredients are obtained by salvaging (junk) level 3 shadow items. And on it goes.

At mastery 25 I believe the game will reward you with a pearl. Use this pearl to upgrade your shadow item to four stats. You will have previously chosen a shadow item wtih the top two stats that you wanted. Now your item will have four stats of which the top two are permantent and cannot be changed. Now you can take your 4 stat shadow item to the appropriate bench (a green one with tentacles) and with tentacles and flux keep rerolling the bottom two stats till you get what you want.

Further you will keep purchacing pearls and adding them to your shadow item (the one you wnat to keep forever not some junk one!) and up to two pearls can be added to each of the four stats. Each pearl adds 10% to that stat I think. At this time each pearl is going for about 10,000 flux on the player market. Find the market by pressing "v" or its hotkey.

... If you join a club I imagine some kind soul could gift you some shadow items with the stats you want. I know I am devolping a pile of them.

Chaos Forge - randomize stats
Enchanted Forge - add stats using pearl of wisdom, lower required level using twinkling tome, add auras to radaint weapon and steller items like hat, face , weapon :)
Forge to upgrade Gear but cant upgrade rings :)

2 Twice-Forged Shadow Soul is needed to convert Shadowlv. 2 to lv. 3

2 Thrice-Forged Shadow Soul is needed to convert Shadowlv. 3 to lv. 4

2 Quad-Forged Shadow Soul is needed to convert Shadowlv. 4 to lv. 5

3 Penta-Forged Shadow Soul and 3 Purifying Dragon Flame is needed to convert Shadowlv. 5 to Radiant rarity.

5 Purifying Dragon Flame and 5000 flux to get 5 star Radiant

2 Forged Radiant Soul and 10 Shaper's Star is needed to convert Radiant to Stellar rarity.



if you cant find items buy in player market - you need 20 mastery for it :) press U in-game and search :)

the best way i think finding a shadow 1 gear and upgrading it. its save your flux :)
