But kama bar is needed, when you get stellers 20+ they take a large amount of dust to attempt to lvl 1500+ and most often fail - the kama bar is needed to eventually allow the increase after enough dust is pored into the gem, otherwise if you are very unlucky your gem may never stop eating dust.
Same - both ninth lives gotten from quest rewards - at 950 credits per ninth life its not a good way to level gems (its not like its hard to get dust when you have access to U9, on gem box day I farm around 5k boxes (I have heard of people farming 15K+) I would in fact say the gem system is Play to win.
