Gem upgrade system

So can one star gems be upgraded to full potential and have the same stats as a three stars ? I assume it will only take more upgrade stones but in the end the amount of initial stars dont matter anymore...

yes, but it will be extremelly expensive, even if yo uare pay to win, you will end up spending hundreds only on the augments

empowered gems are as wild as lesser gems now, even if you a high starting percentage the three boosts at 5/10/15 are no longer 100% boosts.

Take this level 1 to level 5 730PR stellar[i.imgur.com] as an example, it lost 40% progress to the stat it boosted.
