Nope :) it’s free to play :)
But if you need to go to end game so fast you can pay :) the choice is up to you :)

And don’t think of as a paying money for services. It’s like a donation.

All our donations for developers is worth to get good game, they worked so hard to develop this game :) and we all doing easy part to playing it :) and blaming for paying and other.

If you ever understand pressure in brain of game developer you never ask it :) at least try to build small game, then you can understand it. That why I never blame for game developers.

Also trove give chance to buy credits with flux. You can buy credits porches to spend. Its help to free to play players to use credits in game. So developers not only think of real money.

They always think of good of players.

That what I see good quality of this game.

Trove developers always care about their players, if they are patron or not.

By pay to skip he means that you can pay to skip some of the grind. So yes, you can get anywhere for free, but it'll take time.

Sorry I wasn't being specific. I would explain more but I was tired.

Well, just from my own view, Trove is free to play but it's also pay to skip. There's some items that can be purchased with irl currency or you can obtain by saving up enough flux by shopping at the marketplace. There is some things that are only under a paywall though unfortunately but I don't personally care since I have no interest in it.

Trove takes patience if you're going to try to avoid paying for anything but for a good start (if you're at least positive you will enjoy Trove for a really long time), the Essentials Pack is a great start for Trove and for other things, well, can be nice but not necessarily needed imo.

Personly I give 5$ into the game to buy some classes but if you want you can just play. I think that 5$ for more than 400h it's pretty worth.

and trust people when they say, paying to skip over countless hours to farm gems...which is absolutely boring...they need something extra...its just running the same dungeons over and over on different difficulties...im stuck at 9k power rating debating on whether or not to keep playing...the farming kills the game for me

Press N then Gems - try to buy gem boosters with cubits.

also emblems.

class lvl, mastery lvl, allys help for power ranks. full pearl steller gear can give each nearly 1k power :) so you can boost your 9k power. also loot collecting Emp gems give 1k to 3k gem dusts.

adventuer crafting bench can craft 9 life in gem tier so with all you can boost your power easily ;) dont give up ;)

and magic find help to drop normal radiant, steller gems to use or for dust in lower uber worlds. go with few friends when you farming in gem worlds its easy and fast way to get what you need ;)

No, you can get everything without spending a penny, sure it will take a lot of time to get items but don't worry, you don't win anything by paying.

Pay to Progress... and even then, there's time wall in Trove and RNG wall that even money can't bypass

(You can't buy a diamond dragon egg, Ganda is 13m flux, while you can buy credit pouch and sell them, it's like 100$ and you can get it for 10k flux if you are insanely lucky, the Hyper Ex mount cannot be bought, etc.)

It's what I like about Trove, everybody is farming at a slow pace. Even with all the dragon eggs, you still need dragon coin to craft them > time wall or keep paying. But it cost a lot.
