We're thrilled to announce that Neon Apex: Beyond the Limit is joining the Steam Next Fest with a demo that you can play today!

Here's what you can experience:

* Introductory Tutorial mode : Presenting your first vehicles and races in Neon Apex as well as introducing the garage with vehicle customisation and upgrades.

* Full first two levels of the Career game mode, featuring a variety of race modes set in the Cyber-City section of the Neon Apex map, including:
- Full races
- Sprint races
- Takedown events
- Versus races
- Special bonus stages

* A selection of cars and bikes picked from the ‘Speed Class 1’ range which can be enhanced and upgraded with winnings earned in the Career mode.

A few things I would like to see changed regarding the game

I enjoyed the game well enough, with the art-style being a highlight, however there are a few things I would like to see changed. Firstly, while I did like the art-style, I found that the character designs did not captivate me much. Some bolder outlines, both for the models themselves and potentially the eyes, would be appreciated. Secondly, the the camera looking at your vehicle after the light turns green at the start and during the use of Nitro is odd. An extra effect would not be out of place in thos...

Cool artstyle, good music, too easy

Tracks are simple and the ai are too easy to beat making the game pointless. Also seeing that they abandon every game.

pretty cool demo, needs one fix for 32:9 to be usable

cool artstyle, very very smooth, gameplay is meh the vehicles have no inertia and its kinda boring but the biggest issue i've had is dialogue boxes being way too big in 32:9 and blocking the path https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3434284575 the rest of the ui works fine enough in 32:9 but this is annoying...

[Bug] The HUD doesn't calculate positions properly when there's lapped cars

When overtaking cars that are a lap behind the HUD doesn't take into account the lap difference when calculating the positions. So even though the player is in 1st the game shows as if they were in whatever position they would be if every racer was on the same lap. When ending the race the game also informs the player they ended in that same position despite the final results showing a 1st finish....

All other games from the devs were published in an unfinished state and never updated after. I fear that will happen here too.
