The trophies should totally be achievements.

It looks like the achievements to this game are all flat stat grinds, with only one hardcore one. Whereas all the "real" achievements are implemented into the game as trophies.

In a game of this nature with random elements, having lots of varied achievements is a huge plus, and will attract much more of the achievement hunter croud. It's the main reason why The Binding of Isaac series became so popular. So I really don't see why the trophies can't be implemented as achievements.

Yeah I will admit that you're right on this. All of the in-game trophies were implimented into the game from my humble beginnings (before I was on Steam). They were so intwined with the code that it was going to be too much work to take it all out and re-do as Steam achievements. So instead, I made the Steam achievements have a different flavour to mix it up.

If I ever do a Point Perfect 2, I think I will do as you suggest! Thanks for the feedback my man.
