Thank you for adding achievements to Assassins Creed Valhalla. Is there a chance for the same procedure in the remaining titles of the series?

you were right
the problem is that all your achievments from Ubisoft conect instantly pops out, when run it on Steam,
so there is no way for replaying those games again for Steam achievments if you already have them on ubisoft ( and no way how to disable this function ) ( could be becouse unchecking "enable cloud save synchronization for supported games" settings in Ubisoft settings does literally nothing, it keeps loading those cloud saves, even if i delete them ingame )

All they gotta do is link the Ubisoft Connect achievements to trigger Steam achievements unlocks bruh and we get achievements from AC Revelations-upwards. Ubisoft got no idea how achievements help in a game longevity and the amount of ppl that buys or even rebuys the game just to have achievements

I am a great example of this. I have a collection of all Assassin's Creed games on Ubisoft Connect, but if it is possible to unlock achievements on Steam, I buy a second copy of the game. I love Steam and I would like Ubisoft to improve their games on this platform. I don't mean only the AC series, but also Far Cry or Watch dogs... (Written on Google Translator)

thats exactly what i did too, than when i figured out how it works, i refunded the game ( on Steam ), used Steam console to removed those poped achievments, unlinked my Ubisoft profile from Steam, made a new one and linked it to Steam, then rebuy the game ( on Steam ), now i can do all those achievments again on Steam


becouse imagine you buy a game you already payed for again for Steam achievments, and only thing you get from that, is all achievments 100 % completition pops in second you launch it - so now you look like some cheater and have no reason to play it, when you remove them with steam console ubisoft dont care, will throw them there again, you remove saves - ubi dont care, delete cloud saves ingame - no diffence, disable cloud save synchronization - no difference again

its crazy how customer unfriendly these companies can be, and devs cant do anything, they not ones who decide, i dont blame them

They still are customer unfriendly. They focus on selling 3 different tiers of a game upwards to $130 deluxe editions, cram MTX into single-player games.

And one of the funniest is that on their own official discord server, you can only speak English. A company that is founded and headquartered out of France will ban you if you post in French, I have seen it happen.

That is understandable but the guy above did not mention any of that. Their reason of "customer unfriendliness" is that achievements they unlocked will unlock for them. This is wild.

I just bought AC Valhalla because achievements were added. I'd buy every other AC game if they had achievements. Black Flag is one of the best of all time.

I'd love to see more achievements. I don't consider them a requirement for me to play games, but they're definitely a significant incentive towards my decision to buy and play them.

Please add achievements to a wider catalogue of Ubisoft games that already got them in Uplay. Only good can come from doing this, both for the legacy of your games and for customer loyalty. It's a very pro-consumer move and people like that, keep it up.
