(SPOILER) For God's sake, HE IS NOT TRANSGENDER!
First of all, i'm sorry if my english is a bit borken, i'm french...

I see a lot of people misunderstanding the plot of Michel, thinking he is a LGBT character... even the tags added on steam contain the LGBT TAG... but that's NOT the case! Michel is a MAN and he never has been a woman! And i am not talking about social construction, he is BIOLOGICALLY a man! Michel is just INTERSEX (no genitales) that's why his family though he was a girl, because it was impossible to determine his gender, so they assumed he was a girl because he had no penis when he born! but when he got puberty he got all males traits (no breast, male voice, male face ect) because even if he has no penis, he still has the rest of his male genes! Michel is not a trans who indentifies himself as the opposit gender, he is a cis male who was forced to be trans because in the middle ages, people didn't know what is intersexuality, that's why everyone though he was a monster, because in their mind, if he has no penis, he has to be a woman, so the fact he got no breast and got male traits when he grew up made them think he was a monster! and don't say that "Maybe Morgana gave him the males traits!" it didn't happend! Morgana meet Michel for the very first time when he hugged her skellenton after he was exiled!

So,

- Michel has always been a man, he just born with no penis, he was forced to be trans, that quite the opposit of trans concept!

Stop to define him as a transgender, he is not, he is cisgender... and please remove the LGBT tag, Michel has NEVER been a biological woman!

You're right about Michel being intersex, not trans.

I'm not deeply familiar with the fandom discourse around Fata Morgana, so I can't comment on people mislabeling him as trans.

As for the Steam tag, as far as I can tell, Steam only has one tag ("LGBTQ+") to highlight non-straight and/or non-cis elements in games, instead of a bunch of different tags for different types of identities / orientations. I'm pretty sure this tag can be seen as a stand-in for "LGBTQIA+" - the "I" in which stands for "Intersex."

Don't worry, nobody in the fandom ever thought he was trans, lol. That's just a tag

I mean... he is a person of a different gender that the one he was assigned at birth. Pretty much the definition of being trans.

I disagree with that... A trangender person, is someone who thinks he/she is born in the wrong body... that is not the case with Michel, he noticed that something was wrong, not because he was born in the wrong body, but because he was born in the RIGHT body but he was deceived by his family who though he was a girl... the concept of being trans, is to refute the biology and assign the gender you want... for Michel, the case is completely different... he embraces the identity that they took away from him... his biological indentity... Michel is cis 100%

That's not how being trans work. The "wrong body" narrative is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one. Generally a transgender person is one that is a gender different that the one they were assigned at birth - check, well, any dictionary, like Merriam Webster:

transgender
adjective
trans·gen·der tran(t)s-ˈjen-dər
tranz-
Synonyms of transgender
: of, relating to, or being a person whose gender identity differs from the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth
especially : of, relating to, or being a person whose gender identity is opposite the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth

There's nothing about right or wrong bodies. What matters is someone's actual gender identity vs how they were identified by the society. Michel was identified as a girl but is a boy. Thus, transgender.

And if your crude comments about "thinking that someone is born in a wrong body" mean what I think they mean: being trans is not about what genitals one has. And Michel would be trans regardless of genitals due to being identified as a woman at birth and from then on. (and also the game pretty clearly states that he did not have genitals that his social environment would identify as male on sight, which is somethat that can happen to cis men, too)

Actually, Michel is intersex and trans. This is actually a quite common thing to happen and I'll explain why. Transgender people are people who are assigned one sex at birth and don't identify with it when they grow up. Intersex people are people born with ambiguous genitais or hormonal imbalances that make it hard to determine their gender. Even today, when a child is born intersex, the doctors try to assign them one of two genders. And many times doctors end up being wrong and when the kid hits puberty and start developing secondary sexual traits their appearance doesn't match their assigned gender. In real life, it's quite frequent even today for intersex people to be assigned one gender and not identify with that. For this reason, a ton of intersex people in real life are also trans. In modern days it's actually worse cause if the kid is intersex the doctors will give them hormones etc to align with one specific gender and later it turns out that was not their gender and they have to do procedures to reverse it. Anyways, intersex people are included in LGBT+ probably because they have many similar experiences with trans people and are often trans themselves.
