Difference between Steam and MG download?

Content-wise, they're identical. Only difference is the Steam version has the extra Steam bells and whistles--achievements, trading cards, badges.

For many games, they also gives Steam Key.
Buying outside of Steam is a good idea if you want to support MG more. :)

They are not providing Steam keys anymore after some fraud was going on IIRC.

Unfortunately this is no longer happening due to a major case of steam keys fraud that cost MG a great deal of losses and caused their pay processor to be down for a period of time (they're back with a different one now). Not sure when they'll be able to re-add the feature if ever.

Both versions are DRM-free, yes.

Only to purchase it. Once you have the data, it's yours. The game won't suddenly stop working if you decide to uninstall Steam.

Can someone explain me why do I see diffrent dialogues in dialogue history? Is that supposed to be like that? My observation skill betrays me since I noticed it after 20 hours how long was that there? Pls tell me that it is a bug and that I am playing this correctly

It's intentional, but it only happens in the fourth chapter.
