Is this really it? No more Morgana?
Please, don't recommend me Steins;Gate or Saya no uta...etc
I don't like them.

Are there really no more Visual Novels as interesting as The House in Fata Morgana?
It doesn't have to be the same format or thematic, just a quality one with a thrilling story, more than fan-servicing.

A lot of Umineko fans are very fond of Fata Morgana so I would recommend that. They're very different stories with similar plot points and character bits. Umineko is my favorite visual novel bar none and I think any fan of the genre should give it a shot.

There's also the prequel if you haven't already played it.

have you read Requiem, the prequel for Fata Morgana? it is a solid deep dive in jacopo and morgana personality
also you could read Umineko, everyone talks about it as the "cousin" of Fata. But know that it is veeeeery long, almost 130 hours of read

Check out the auhor Ryukishi07, he is probably my favorite VN author and the writer of Umineko, which the others here recommended. There is also Kinoko Nasu, probably the most known VN author (he doesn't write them anymore sadly). Nasu is the creator of Fate/stay night and Tsukihime, which are both excellent imo.

If you want more, check out the subreddit r/visualnovels. They have have a graphic with VNs recommended by the community. Other than that there is also the Visual Novel Database where you can filter by tags, genre etc. You will definitely find something there.

There are a lot of VNs out there with top-notch storytelling and you don't really need to look that hard. I'm actually surprised you don't like Saya no Uta since you like Fata Morgana.

To me, "999" and "Fata Morgana" are the two best visual novels out there, so, if you haven´t played 999 (the nonary games) yet, i recommend it.

I'd throw out 'The Letter' as a pretty good VN to check out. Not as deep as Fata Morgana, but parts of it take place in a mansion and it's horror (but a bit more of a The Ring/The Grudge type than Fata Morgana).

Seconding 07th Expansion, also I would suggest MYTH, Subarashiki Hibi (Wonderful Everyday), and Swan Song. The former 2 have a slow start but are definitely worth it.
I found "Leviathan Last Day of the Decade" to be also very enjoyable

If you want another amnesiac protagonist story done right, try out Ghost Trick, which is a puzzle/VN hybrid. No PC version though unfortunately.

Chaos;Child and Umineko are really good

This might be sort of a weird sugestion but I've been playing planescape torment and that game is a very bleak and engrossing game. Its not a VN per say but it has a very strong focus on written story. it is the only thing that I found has come close to evoking those same feelings found in Morgana.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

I got this game backlogged, I have heard only good things about it, but now that you say the writing has similar impact, I'll definitely try it asap.
