"Connection Failed" Issue.

So I only just recently noticed that I had the FTP version of CTA but when I try to launch either the Tutorial or Skirmish I get an error saying "Connection Failed" (I can't test Multiplayer either since I have to go through either the training first or 5 matches of skirmish)

I have tried launching the game through Admin but that does not work either.

Have you been able to play multiplayer in the past?

You will need to check and see if you have upnp enabled as well as the steam ports forwarded

I have the exact same issue and online features have never worked for me

How would I go about checking to see if the UPNP is enabled? and how would I check if the steam is port forwarded?
