Private Alpha/Beta Access?

Call me stupid (everyone shouts "Stupid!"), but I don't see the info anywhere, is there any way a talented game modder such as myself, with experience in game design, yadda, yadda, yadda, get into a private alpha/beta NOW? I mean, I dont mind plunking down some cash as long as it's a reasonable amount, but I really would like a modern RTS from the folks who make AS. I've followed this game for (it feels like) 2 years and I'm tired of waiting for some sort of access :)

Currently there is no private access that we can give to players.

If you are a backer of the game you will receive the earliest alpha access key in your email that you signed up with when it becomes available.

It is not that far off, I know it can be hard to wait but it will be worth it. We will have the game out this quarter (Q4) meaning before the new year.
