why digitalmindsoft is not on men of war 2 ?

Genuinly curious about this, is it because:
-you did your own thing with CTA and GOH without 1C involvement ? or
-just for the sake of saying we brought back the original devs ?
-digitalmindsoft / 1C / Best Way are the same folks under different names and it's just PR business ?

As far as I know digitalmindsoft only assisted with the development of the first men of war game. Bestway was the lead developer.

Digitalmindsoft did the assault squad games of the series though.

Bestway and digitalmindsoft are 2 seperate companies and they are not really connected as far as I know.

Also, DMS, Best Way and 1C are definitely different companies. 1C is currently making the game Caliber. Not a clue where Best Way went. DMS.......mmmmm.....judging by the way CTA is going, it might be the best way for DMS to not be working on MOW2.....

DMS have been working on the latest MOW installement, kinda strange 1c didn't give them the next big thing !

Best Way kind of, you know, *created* the entire Men of War / Faces of War / Soldier: Heroes of WW2 series of games.

DigitalMindSoft were originally a group of modders who altered on MoW to create the multiplayer-focused Assault Squads 1 and 2, and grew into a professional development and publishing studio after the fact.
