I'm not too sure why doing just that mission again fixed it. I think I may have completed the 1st time too quickly. First go around I rushed an MRAP and captured the enemy base before all of the supply ammo locations spawned. 2nd round I waited until near the end of the game when my AI partner started capping the enemy FOB.
Some feedback - this game's implementation of requiring the tutorial to be completed before allowing online play is rather bad. A pop-up asking the player to play the tutorial upon first time startup (and the option to skip tutorials and go straight to Online), or some kind of indicator telling the player which tutorials have been completed and which ones still need to be done before Online is unlocked would have been very helpful. At the very least it would have told me which tutorial wasn't marked as complete.
Also, the only reason I knew the tutorials needed to be done in the first place is because I looked this issue up online - the game never told me I needed to do so and judging by similar posts online it seems many new players aren't aware until they leave the game and look/ask around online. If there's going to be a prerequisite to Online play in the first place, withholding this info from new players in-game is a major misstep.
