Hi everyone, we are always interested in hearing what you guys like, usually we would have you post in suggestions, but we want to hear your most wanted features / changes.

Please keep posts on topic, no debating, if you agree with an idea someone else posted be sure to quote it and post it.

So let's hear some of the most wanted features / changes you would like to see in the future.

as for vehicles, SPAAGs (shilka, tunguska etc), more russian tanks (T-55, T-72, T-90), rocket artillery (grad) but really artillery in general. plus TOW for infantry. basically all the stuff you see in current wars.

urban maps should maybe look less pristine and more like actual combat areas with damaged buildings which are actually defendable. if at all possible with the engine, make multi-story buildings defendable on every floor, not just one.

maybe change the nondescript factions into actual factions. the mix of real and fictional factions is a bit weird. or make every faction fictional instead. on that note, will this game have an actual story to it?

i think it would be great to implement better Helicopters the Mi 24 and Mi 8 for instance
right now helicopters are pretty useless because the only ones we have is an unarmed version and a one wich is packed full of rockets wich look like they only can do damage to Tanks and AFV`s
i think that its a good idea to give the Mi 24 more variants for example 2 Rocket pods and 4 AT rockets and its main cannon (like in real life) and the MI 8 should get roecket pods (like in real life too) such stuff is good for Air assault attacks where you can load Infantry into an Mi 17 and fly them to battle like Paratroopers in Afghanistan.
this might add some "Airborne" tactics

maybe something wich is called "Airborne" tactic where it is possible to call in vehicles and ground infantry via parachute
oh and for adding new units i would love to see some static weaponry (NSV for GRM and M2 for US) some russian tanks and AFV`S with variations would be great like the T-72 with its B and BA version and a classic BMP 2 without any modern stuff and maybe even the old BMP 1

New Voice Acting[h1/]

'Little Bird' helicopters[h1/] - specifically for Rangers/Seals heli drops

Helicopter rope drops[h1/] (Blackhawks)

IED's for GRM[h1/]. More purposeful traps, trip wires, door breaching explosives.

Static RPG/MG[h1/]

New Theatre of Wars[h1/] - Tropical Jungle, Aztec Ruins, Snowy mountain Base.

Weather Effects[h1/] - Blizzard Reduces visibility and fire range, Sandstorms, Heavy Rain.

GRM have the ability to convert parked vehicles/trucks into suicide cars or mount with MG's.[h1/] Perhaps use engineer ability?

Engineers have more abilities[h1/] - Dig in tanks, lay traps, sandbag up key positions.

Medics - Ability to carry wounded soldiers.

i kind of miss the destruction that MOWAS 2 had i would love to see that in the final game because i liked the feeling when an enemy is hiding in a building and you fire at him with a tank round was so good and anyway its kind of unrealistic how a tank cant crush a sheet metal shed and cant drive through buildings

Ability to download mods (especially maps) ingame in 1 click if you join the servers with them, would make custom maps more available and organiseable (for those who are lazy to do it manually and there are lot of such people, considering the (un)"popularity" of quality multiplayer mappacks in mowas 2/cta)

A notification (Sound, or the game icon flashes in taskbar, or both) when the game starts. Sometimes I alt+tab out of the game during loading, only to find the game already started, kind of annoying.

Edit: Also, in editor when you select a unit and go to F2 mode, the entity detail square (the one with decal, and texmod) will not disappear. Again, kind of annoying when testing in editor.

What i'd like to see are campaign's such as the original men of war assault squad of where you had to take points from the enemies at the beginning and slowly pace up,

Oh and maybe add an option to use the normal control units on vehicles then the first person selection.. Unless i'm just not using it right

Fix the sound engine for both games -
for CTA ( and subsequently AS2 ) so I can be interested & enjoy playing this game.
I want to play or recreate what I am seeing in all the war videos from Syria and Iraq.

Turn off the grenade aiming white line -
Make an option so you can turn off the grenade throw aim line,
in the map option settings list or Video settings.

more spaces in vehicles (infantry can ride ontop the BTR 80 and BMP 2 and 3 or can lookt out of the hatches of the BMP 2 and open fire on enemys while the APC is on the move http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/USSR/photos/BMP-1_NewIraqi_Army-2.jpg something like this

Following the theme of the T-62 please don't be afraid to include more "older" vehicles.

I find it puzzling that GRM didn't receive the BMP-1, so I'd love to see that added in the future.

Its the most common infantry fighting vehicle found in the Middle East and elsewhere.

Also the T-72 hasn't found its way into the game yet even though its one of the most widely produced and operated tanks of all time.

In comparison only 5000 T-80 tanks were built compared to 30,000 T-72's.

Hopefully the T-72 tank will be be considered for the future to fix this omission :cta_emo1:
