Call to Arms - Deluxe Edition upgrade

I have the Call to Arms free version. If I buy the Call to Arms - Deluxe Edition upgrade DLC will it run on the free version AND give me offline single-player? or do I have to buy the Call to Arms - Basic Edition also?

The Deluxe Edition upgrade is for if you bought the basic edition and decided you wanted the benefits of the Deluxe Edition.

Thanks. That is what i thought. But Steam shows that I have both the free AND the (paid) Basic Edition (although I never bought it). That makes me wonder if the cheaper Deluxe Edition Upgrade will work instead of having to buy the more expensive Deluxe Edition

A good way to check to see if you truly do have the basic edition would be to see if steam shows it in "downloadable content".

Where is that? I don't see any menu item for "downloadable content".

If you right-click on CtA then there should be "view downloadable content".

Hmm....In my Library I right-clicked on it and I don't see that. But I do see it for other games like Battletech. Maybe because it is the Free Version I can't see it. Thanks for the help.
