1) Create a new map or load an existing one.
2) Save that map under a new name.
3) Exit the editor, brows to resource / map and copy the game mode files from an existing map and paste them into your new, recently created map.
4) Start the editor and load the game mode file in F3 menu.
5) Put placeholder entities in F2 menu where important spots are like flags or spawnpoints. SAVE.
6) Repeat 4) and 5) for all game modes you want your map to be available later on.
7) Unload the game mode in F3 menu (ESC -> Unload while in F3) You will now be able to build your map around the important flagpoints etc.
8) Remember: if you change the location for example of a flagpoint in F3 to also change your F2 placeholders.
