just put them near the low ammo unit/vehicule/emplacement,
they auto resupply them while in range

i have suggested devs give us the ammo crates transported by ammo truck. The ammo truck itself is too big and bulky. They are easily and targeted and destroyed. That is why ammo crates will serve with great purpose

To me, the vulnerability of supply trucks is a measure of balance - it counters the fact that you can replenish your soldier's inventories indefinitely. A commander who is unable to protect their logistics infrastructure is at a massive disadvantage, just as in real life.

In real life, ammo crates are unloaded from ammo truck when it reaches the front line. Ammo crates have nothing to do with logistics infrastructure. It has to do with the fact that you have to park your ammo truck right on the frontline. Nobody does that real life. When you talk about logistics infrstructure, it means the route the ammo truck takes to transport ammo crates safefy to the front line, not whether ammo crates can be unloaded or not

Well, sure - but this is a videogame, and I'm sure no one wants to play "Supply Truck Unloading Simulator 2018"

In other words, things are made abstract for gameplay. That's why soldiers automagically refill their ammo from supply trucks just by standing near them, and why a single US soldier can carry 4 AT4s in a magic pocket-dimension where they suddenly appear out of thin air as he fires them. ;)

Me and alot others like to play truck unload simulator instead of loosing out trucks constantly.
They can add a button for trucks to instantly unload supply then we don't care if the truck get destroyed.

Furthermore, Ammo trucks cost cp. Sometimes, you can't afford to buy 2 of them, sending into different directions. So the ability to unload the ammo crates really makes sense for the gamEplay. It is not simulation at all.

now after knowing all this, i park my truck a little ways away from the first line of capture positions aand usually have 2 abrams on each side gaurding and when my soilders are out of ammo, i go to the spot i captured to refill ammo and drive my vehicles to the ammo truck

Ammo trucks are a rare sight. Most people prefer to resupply at flags.

Ammo trucks lack the ability to properly distribute fuel. The only way to properly fuel a helicopter is to drain the ammo truck itself.

I think ech ammo truck should receive additional 5-10 canisters of fuel. That would make them a lot more valuable.

Guys you missing major thing about the truck it's like a private car giving food for one meal then I have to send others and others and others to get the job done, one truck can't hold enough ammo for two tanks
I have seven tanks in battle 4 in the front and 3 to reserve to complete the battle.
plus I should have a truck and half for every tank which mean 10 supply trucks to rearmed those tanks regards of other soldiers you should die from low ammo because this ammo for tanks only,
it's ridiculous to not provide several tanks from one ammo trucks,
oh we didn't talk about fuel too but it's not big deal because it's not big map
we need major updating about everything make sense in this game, please Developers listen to us.
A trick to using supply trucks, at least vs AI, is dont put them directly behind units. If you have 2 tanks side by side, put the truck facing forward, between the tanks, with as much space as you can get away with. Otherwise, the AI shoot your vehicle and blow up your truck by missing your tank.

Lol, my mod went more abstract. AT4s and Panzerfaust.....I made it where heavy ammo trucks resupply AT weapon ammo, and therefore, the AT4 and Panzerfaust can reload lol.
