btr 82 30mm ap doesnt penetrate Stryker

I know the armor system will get an overhaul but its just so frustrating, everytime I invest in a mid tear vehicle like the BTR 82 the 30 mm just seems to have very low penetration, it encountered a stryker and shot 500 AP rounds in its side and it wasn´t destroyed, and got a hit with a RPG, is penetration just random, 30mm should even penetrate soviet era tanks form the rear...

In reality it is probably capable of penetrating not only soviet, but western tanks from the rear too. Not to mention Stryker.

isnt stryker and the btrs have similar armor stats , and LAV and btr82 also have same pen stats for their cannons so if LAV can destrot btr , btr can destroy LAV

Yep BTR 30mm is weak against certain vehicles, regadles of angle and parts or side of armored vehicle

Thanks guys to confirm this, it just feels weak sometimes in comaprison to its opponents even if it has the largest gun in the price range

first of all it depends of the era of soveit tanks t72 was a soviet tank same with t80 but they had tanks before that
