Any instruction sheet/manual for the beginning player?

Just bought the Basic game. Checked out "guides", but there's nothing on how to get started playing. No manual; well, I guess that's normal these days. But where/how does one learn how to get started with this game?

Yeah it's all YouTube, googling, training levels and hints section in the game. I can't find a game manual.

pmarvin7, there used to be a series of tutorial videos in game that were created by DeltaDude (DMS employee). I havent gone searching for them of late so not sure if they are still there. The best way to learn is to find a player who can assist you with understanding the fundamentals. I would be more than happy to help you, as i have a number of hours under my belt. Just add me in Steam and let me know a time you want to set up a game. We can go 1v1 but i will use the in game chat to tell you what to do.

I am about to buy the Basic Version of the game but there needs to be a manual. There is a lot of stuff on the in-game UI that isn't explained and I'd ♥♥♥♥♥♥' like to know what they do.

I have a question. What does the white line at the bottom mean, right above the F1, F2, F3,... symbols. It's get full by the start and then do nothing. I mostly play domination against AI.

the white line I think you are referring to is the direct control timer. when you direct control a unit and you have the timer option enabled in the server lobby, this line will slowly get smaller, and once it has gone, you can no longer directly control a unit until it rebuilds. This option can be disabled in the server lobby. Does this help?

Thank you. But I found the Tips section under Extras. It looks pretty good. I didn't know it was there when I posted . Also the I didn't think that the little icons on the bottom left had tool tips but then I noticed that there were tool tips but they were popping up on the bottom right of the screen so I missed them at first. Maybe those tool tips should pop up closer to the icons.

No wonder i didn't know. I only play in RTS mode. Thank you.
