Is the single-player fun/worth buying?
Title says it all.

Note: I don’t mind buying the full game and season pass for $60 so that I get all the single player campaign content, as long as it is enjoyable, AI isn’t pitiful, etc.

You can skirmish against ai bots when you are done with the campaign so I would say yes. You can put a lot of hours into this game.

I prefer the GRM campaign over the USA campaign. Buying the game gives you access to the workshop and that opens up all sorts of mods in the future.

i considered it worth it back when there was only a few missions way back when. havent been on in about 11 months though, so keep in mind i aint that familiar with how its been since then.
(i sure as hell am looking forward to getting back on though)

I'm primarily interested in SP, too but will do coop when I'm at least half-competent.

Bought it for 1P experience (can't take the heat of the wild online gameplay...)

I'm convinced that there will be lots and lots of player made missions/content.

But yeah, I'm QUITE disapointed by the fact that they promised me "the complete game" when I entered a contract with DMS.
Not even a discount on the DLC...

:rcry:

Quite frankly, it's a disgrace.

FWIW.
I know it's a small dev team.
Who have worked their arses off during the last couple of years.
Kudo's for what they have achieved!!!

Yeah I think it is definetely worth if you are only considering single player...spent 211 hours, without one multiplayer game^^

Yes, it is worth it. The single players games will take hours to get thru some of them. I do them first on easy just to get thru them, then normal, then I give hard a try.

Yes, you can play both campaign and skirmish mode with AI, plus you can do co-op campaign and host skirmish match with your friends and AI together (something that is missing from most modern games).

AI could be better but still fun to play with.

The GRM campaign is a nice addition. Still have yet to finish Mission 1, lost me tanks since I was rushing the army like a dumb dumb.

I cant get into game, despite being a fan of the engine since heroes of WW2, this just feels distant, little control, very clunky and the FPS side is terrible. If i knew what I know now back when I backed it, I would not have bought it....

i don't understand, the control in FPS is much better and improved comapred to the old direct control. Yet people don't complain about the old direct control as clunky.

the single player campaign is shallow, it needs more content

I have the free version of this game. Is it as clunky in the paid for version, because omg, the AI is so clunky it is pretty much unplayable.

Well I have 200 hours invested into this game so far, of those 200 hours around 195 are single playing. Mostly Skirmish vs Bots.
