What the hell just happened to skirmish mode?
Theres a finite number of resources and income now? when is that a thing.. even expert AI runs out of men to send at me... that sucks! Can anyone confirm deny this? I have plenty of CP space... but i don't get any "money" to call in more men even after deliberately sending some to their deaths.... did they change this? is there a way to set it back to the way it was before???

This is extremely depressing if so.... my family is retired military and LOVES to play skirmish by getting in a tank blasting hostiles like they did in real life... while i controled the flow of the battles via rts mode... now the enemy ( and me eventually / possibly) can run out of targets to shoot at / allied support.

If this is an intended change its absolutely horrible and please set an option to change it back to the way it once was :(

Not sure what you mean. If you want to set it to unlimited CP you can go to the lobby options and under the Game settings select Custom. You can control the resources there.
I mean that in skirmish mode both the player and the AI got a steady supply of "cash" not CP during the game.... and it would slowly refund if you lost a unit.

I could start a 999 point domination game and fight expert AI 4v4 and has an absolute all out war and have a great time. Now the AI runs out money to send in new troops within like 5-8 minutes. And now i have to be careful with my troops because my money will dry up eventually... preventing me from having wacky ideas to try out and not caring if my family members get a few units killed since as long as i can rebound... we have a chance.

There was a slow yet endless income of "cash" during skirmish games... and now it stops eventually... can we set it back to the way it was before? please?

It was never endless, it'd always eventually run out depending on how much you set the MP to. As for the AI, They've only ever stop sending units around the same time i run out of MP.

I agree, it seems like once the passive MP income is exhausted, then you only get the small amount due to your loses. I tested it on a 2v2 against player, and it made the end game much slower, with few squad on the map for everyone and 0 vehicles. Maybe it's intended, it was still enjoyable but maybe it should be an option then.

It has always been like that. At the start you got the most MP and quicker, over the battle it thins out and eventually you stop getting that currency. AI stop sending troops as well. It's always been like that, I think even in Men of War games.
Anyway, as mentioned before, you can set the settings in the lobby to custom and modify the amount of MP you get during the battle.

but the higher amount of MP i set it to the more "crowded" the start of the game is with the middle and end being boring.... I want to be able to set an option for a slow steady stream throughout the entire match. The insane AI blows all its cash really early and then theres nothing left for us to destroy after the initial waves are over after the first 5-10 minutes or so.

Once the initial MP income is exhausted, you only get the MP from your lost (I think you get the entirety of it, but it's slow and since the initial income doesn't stack anymore it feels even slower)

Bump... has naything been done to adjust income over time so it never runs out?

Edit: or can we at least get the OPTION to have this enabled??? Please??? All we want to do is mow down the AI sometimes!!!

You can set the game to test mode instead of standard.

This allows me to adjust the income rate of the AI? So that I can set it to never run out of $ but slowly aquire it over time permanently? So the enemy never runs out of money? Or me for that matter?

No, testmode is not suitable for a standard game, it gives you infinite resources so ai would spam the whole map with units

currently (and this wasn't changed for a long time) there is a fix ending of the mp grow time, so you can only get new points via payback of killed units which depends on how many units are still alive

I've actually test that... in my games when i purposly get a unit killed after the income has stopped coming in, I do not get refunded after the MP growth time is over. Is that intended?

Please understand I love your game. I have been playing your games since Soldiers Heroes of WWII release.

MOWAS2 is the perfect game to me in your series.

What me and people like me are asking for is just a modifyable option when we start a MP match that sets how much income you get per minute throughout the entire game that DOES NOT change, or ever run out.

Some of us like to start a game with our friends and have one guy focus on the commander aspect while the other take direct control of a soldier or tank and just like to go Terminator.

It sucks that now there is not even an OPTION for endless income over time. Causeing us to constantly restart the game matches over and over.

Also I don't know how much work it would be... but some maps that were like the AS2 maps would be great.... the 3 defensive lines and the enemy HQ ones... each point unlocking more income and new unit types... those were amazing... so was the defensive one

can you provide more information on the game settings you were playing?

I had some wrong info about the system, only the maximum MP are reached after a while but you should always get back those MP through payback infinitely
I tried a standard domination game, had it running until 2500 mp were full, spent them, killed my units and got the full 2500 MP back (the second + value on the right of the mp count)
