If completed, this remake will include a remastering of all the FMV, music, voices, sounds, and 3D environments. It would be a faithful remake, but feature a modern interface and controls. Using the original source tapes, the cinematics can be reprocessed to smooth, 8K HD video using machine learning. BFG wrote that "Our goal is to take what we believe is an already amazing game and scale it up to modern standards while preserving the soul of the original game".
