Can't start the game
I see there is a "Developer" haunting the board.

I'm using Win7-64, and the game will not launch. I get the splash box to set the resolution and graphics, but after that, I get nothing but the game's icon in my tool bar, and a "Not responding" notification. Here's what I have tried:

1) Verify the game's cache through Steam
2) Disable firewall and anti-virus before launching
3) Attempted to launch the game from the .exe in the Steam directory using "Run as admin"

All lead to the same "Not responding."

$5 is not a lot, but I don't want to flush it down the toilet.

Have you tried different settings? Like putting everything on minimum and Fast Render?

No, but if that is what works, I'll be angry. This doesn't really look like a garaphical powerhouse.

Switch compatability to Vista SP2. I had to do the same with Manhunter.

You don't have to turn it down, it doesn't help. Try the compat fix I said.

Nope, but thanks for the suggestion.

I tried every compatibility mode back to XP. I also tried to force the game to use the Intel integrated GPU instead of my GeForce chip, and still nothing.

I'm going to try to contact the developer representative I found who posted on another thread.

Sorry that didn't work. I was having the exact problem you said. However, I did both set it to run as admin AND set compatability, for what it's worth.

Yeah, I set admiin, as well.

This is just another case of a janky older game that was farted onto Steam without any QC. I should have learned my lesson by now.

Um it's not old it was released last year.

Then why does it look like it came from 2005 and only work in Vista compatibility mode?

I have exactly the same problem as Danger Zone. I'm on Win7 64-bit as well.

Changing compatibility settings and/or running as admin has no effect.

A fix would be greatly appreciated, seeing that the game _is_ advertised as compatible with Win7.

Gah.

Okay. The game runs if I close Setpoint. Setpoint is the LogiTech driver for my mouse. It can be closed from the system tray.

Not a great solution, but I doubt that the engine will be fixed, so ...

It's from a small team of people and it's a custom engine that they built from scratch. I didn't need to use a compatibility mode for it to work for me and I'm on Win 7 64 Bit. Try updating drivers and stuff. If not try contacting the makers on Desura.

I don't care if a single kitten developed the game. If they advertised it to work with Win 7, it should bloody well work with Win 7.

The developer does say on the Desura page that logitech does kind of fight with the engine.
