Yes, Mick Gordon, who composed all Doom soundtracks since the 1950s. Not a real Doom game without him

I've enjoyed Gordon's work a lot, and some of the songs are in my workout mix. But it's time for us to let another metal guy take his shot.

I love Mick Gordon. I love his work. I hate how he was treated (or was apparently treated - the truth is no one but the parties know the truth about what happened exactly.) But he's said not to use that as an excuse to undermine the hard work of other devs or to not play Doom, and I'm not going to deprive myself of a gaming experience I think I might enjoy on the basis of someone else's contractual and pay disputes with a company, when I have no real direct insight into the situation.

Now, maybe if he made a direct appeal for people not to support the game or something, on the basis of how he was treated. But he's said the opposite. So if the chief (apparent) injured party is saying to keep enjoying these games and the fruits of the labor of those who worked on them, then I feel reasonably comfortable doing so.
