No Safemode?

I tried booting the game today. I have a 4090, so I enabled DLSS. That turned everything in the game pink. So I reverted to TLAA, and that works, but then I decided to try FSR.

BIG MISTAKE. Now I can't even see the screen, which means I can't see the menu, which means I can't revert back any settings at all.

How does a flagship product like Doom ship without a safe mode launch option in 2025???

Same problem with 3080, set from DLSS to FSR and it crashes right at the intro screen lmao

went through the files and cant find any cfg files, will be forced to re-download it

edit - had to DDU the nvidia drivers as the doom settings seem to be cloud saved

How exactly did you go about it? I've uninstalled the game a handful of times already and uninstalled my drivers twice now and have yet to have any luck.
