it has horde mode that includes 5 special maps. it's endless, it gets harder and harder.
oh andit's 4 player coop in case you dont know. it's coop only no pvp, youc an however play campaign solo, not sure if you can play horde mode solo
Horde Mode (1-4 players) = 5 different maps
If it's anything like the previous two, it'll depend on what difficulty you have it set on, and what multiplier it is also set on.
The impression I have is that it have a set number of enemies determined by things like Smok3y-Bull3t said and also there seems to be a few random respawns on some places (I'm not totally sure on this.) in the first two during the campaign.
Odds are it's the same in the third but we haven't been told yet.
It is nothing like CoD zombies. At all. Though the word is, there is a small mode being added that features a similar type of thing with endless waves. But that is not the main game.
I think he meant in terms of how a map plays out. In which case, it is much more similar to L4D than CoD. You start a map in a safe room, then travel through the fairly linear (not open world) map to the next safe room, completing simple objectives along the way while surviving and killing zombies along the way. You are right though, it has a different personality than L4D, but that fight from point a to point b style of campaign is similar.
