I must understand a thing about this game
Very simple question, no trolling.

Is this game like CoD Zombie (endless hordes) or like L4D (story, start and ending)?

In the first case, i'm NOT interested, otherwise i'm strongly interested.

it has 3 campaigns. one from nazi zombies 1 and one from 2nd one and new one. all of them have renewed graphics and more.

it has horde mode that includes 5 special maps. it's endless, it gets harder and harder.

oh andit's 4 player coop in case you dont know. it's coop only no pvp, youc an however play campaign solo, not sure if you can play horde mode solo
Ok, thanks. Now, in STORY mode there's endless respawn like L4D or the number of zombies in each map is predetermined (i.e. 600 zombies in first map)?

Campaign/Story Mode (1-4 players) = 15 levels across 3 campaigns

Horde Mode (1-4 players) = 5 different maps

If it's anything like the previous two, it'll depend on what difficulty you have it set on, and what multiplier it is also set on.

The impression I have is that it have a set number of enemies determined by things like Smok3y-Bull3t said and also there seems to be a few random respawns on some places (I'm not totally sure on this.) in the first two during the campaign.
Odds are it's the same in the third but we haven't been told yet.

horde mode looks very promising, and elites come in wave 3 already so it shouldnt be boring first few waves

This series is way more enjoyable than that CoD zombies crap beacuse it's actually fun. No buying ammo or weapons or building stupid contraptions. Just grab a gun a start popping zombies!

It is a story. It has a start, middle and finish. There is a campaign in which you travel to various locations in a fairly linear map, killing enemies, flipping switches and trying to fight your way to the end of the map (like most campaign games and like L4D). The story is pretty straightforward, don't expect harrowing drama or twists or anything, but it is there to give reason for why the characters are fighting through all these zombie infested areas. The atmosphere is fantastic btw.

It is nothing like CoD zombies. At all. Though the word is, there is a small mode being added that features a similar type of thing with endless waves. But that is not the main game.

Any dev team that keeps the original concept & also understands their own game mechanics is a real gaming company, they have my vote.

I think he meant in terms of how a map plays out. In which case, it is much more similar to L4D than CoD. You start a map in a safe room, then travel through the fairly linear (not open world) map to the next safe room, completing simple objectives along the way while surviving and killing zombies along the way. You are right though, it has a different personality than L4D, but that fight from point a to point b style of campaign is similar.
