Online Crossplay between PC and Switch Versions?
I've looked through all of the announcements, but I haven't seen Konami say if there will be crossplay between the PC and Switch versions of the game. It would be nice to play online with friends on both PC and Switch!

Has anyone seen information about this?

To be honest, I don’t think there will be cross play. A lot of devs these days are kinda iffy on crossplat netplay for whatever reason

Yea i dont think crossplay will happen.
If no crossplay, which device do we think will have the most players?

I'd rather not get a version that's dead online :/
I want to play these games with other people! They seem so fun!

edited cuz I thought there was a PS5 version too, turns out it's just Switch & PC.

Are all the games getting multiplayer? If no, does anybody know which ones are getting it?

Yugioh Duel Monsters 4 - gets online on launch.
Then "select titles will be updated to support online after release."

So we don't know which other ones are gonna get online, or even how many, but Duel Monsters 4 and at least 2 others (as "titles" is plural) will get it.

Fingers crossed for your favourites!
(I REALLY want one of them to be Dungeon Dice Monsters lol)

Im cool with that. I wanted DDS to have online because I grew up with that game. But DM4 is close enough tbh.
...Also, do you happen to know what version of DM4 we're getting? Are we getting all 3 in this collection?

If no crossplay steam is the way to go. However we still only reliably have a single game listed for online play. They could never follow up with others gaining it. I'll probably get it for switch on the go and not count on them later patching online play for 2004/2005. I would rather have travel play on my switch than wait months for a possible patch to let me play others in the world editions.

I think they are including all versions of DM4 based off of now released game footage of the game.

It is all 3 versions (Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey decks).
I feel like there would be low trust in a second collection if they didn't get at least one GBA game with proper TCG/OCG rules and Dungeon Dice Monsters.

they're announcing that other games are getting online and i'm pretty sure the only reason they didn't mention them all getting it is because some of the games never had multiplayer to begin with.
