Report a translation problem
The low framerate during recording is normal and guarantees that the video will be rendered at the desired target framerate now matter if the simulation runs faster / slower.
For good shots you can for example choose the puruit view or the target view of your coaster (by cycling around the available cameras with 'E').
There is also an unbuilt camera scene object with a camera script that can aim to specific targets while the camera runs along a coaster track that is close to it (check out the scene object/demo objects/External Track Camera object with it additional information for usage detail). You can also find some more user made camera scripts online.
