If the texture is still missing, you can reasign them with a NL2Mat-file.
for that, you go to the scenary tab
->select "NL2MAT Editor"
->go to "textures"
->select "Textur Unit 1"
->select your textur in "2D (File)"
->Save this file in the same location of your SCO
->Open your SCO file
->go to the material tab and import your texture.
I didn't know if the problem is on NLRC2 or on 3Ds, but any work that I've made with 3Ds works correctly on my other simulators, then.....
PS: there are some special option to do before apply material on 3Ds?
Maybe the UVW is messed up, but if you can see the material in 3DsMax, it should show also show up in nl2.
Did you use a standard material? Because Multi/Sub Mats and other special materials wont work.
If i want to create a 3D model with texture, I first create the shape, then apply the material in the material editor in 3Ds max, drag&Drop the material, setting up the UVW map and then export the model.
After that, i copy the model and texture in the park-folder:
/myParkFolderLocation/MyPark/SCO/Models
The SCO is located here:
/myParkFolderLocation/MyPark/SCO
I assign the SCO with the model (NL2SCO Editor):
3D Model: /Models/myModel.3ds
and then it works for me.

You can also try the demo of the old OCObject Creator, that many people used for Nolimits 1)
http://www.coasterforce.com/cf-media/coaster-games/no-limits/useful-tools
just to test, if its Nolimits or 3Ds max. Its good enough for a quick test because of the element limit in the demo
