Audio: VIA VT1708S 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC
Driver: VIA Audio Driver V6.0.1.10100 for Windows XP 64bit & Win7 64bit (the latest available on manufacturers site)
My system: Windows 7, 64 bit, Realtek onboard Audio, Gigabyte board, Intel processor
I have no sound or music issues with any other game.
Win 7 64-bit, ASUS Crossfire V, CPU 8-core AMD FX-8350, GeForce GTX 750 Ti, onboard audio. All drivers up to date. I've also had no sound issues with any other game.
For me it helps to simply restart the level.
At least Montezuma 4 only bothers you with its looping samples. :)
