Unfinished No skin Guide by skz (Spoilers)
I spent 8hrs on the demo and now have spent even more on the game, welp i think im addicted. Anyways, here's a lil guide ive been putting together -it is not finished at all, lmk if theres anything i should add - but yeah its got some tips for beginners, maybe some stuff you didnt know and also some of my personal tips.

Items:
Lighter - can be bought from the long-gilled fish (after unlocking it in the lunar store). If you give it to rugs in the second stage by talking to him, he will let you go and you get 33 crimson fragments and 2 cigarettes – easy way to get fragments + progress without losing hearts, and the cigarettes can be handy if you unlock second hand smoke from the crimson dancers. edit: Can use it to one shot burned alive and/or the woman with snake eyes. Its cheap so worth it – approx. 1 fragment.
Liquor bottle - can be bought from the long-gilled fish in the second stage (after unlocking it in the lunar store). If you give it to Trish in the third stage, you can skip the fight and she gives you approx. 14 crimson fragments + 1x ammo, and you get these perks: the first damage you deal is increased by 1 and the first damage you take in a battle is reduced by 2,– very worth it. It’s also useful to use in boss battle if you have no healing items as it allows you to heal as many hearts as you deal damage to the enemy but each turn you suffer poison equal to your max hp. It is quite expensive though – approx. 27 fragments.
Dummy – can be bought from the long-gilled fish (after unlocking it in the lunar store) for approx. 2 fragments. Its useful in later stages when some enemies steal items or also for trading, as it will always be put at the top of your inventory so will protect your important items being lost. For example, the magpie in the third stage will heal 1/3 of your max health if you give it the first item in your inventory, which if it’s the dummy, is a very cheap deal – likewise some enemies may trade health or chances of escaping for the dummy.
Bunch of keys – Get it after defeating the doorman – whom you must unlock from lunar store. Can have different effects which change every battle, from: remove all negative statuses, instant attack dealing 6 dmg with 90% accuracy, restore 5 hp, gain 5 non-perm hp, increased ranged weapon dmg by 3, $^&&%$, and probably more perks idk. edit: if you use %$£& keys when fighting corrupted cultist, and you have a crucifix, he can join your party as a false god worshipper
Gummy bears- can get it from defeating a boss, meeting luna (by ‘meet a girl similar to you’) or defeating Noire from another timeline. Heals 1/3 of your max health and deals 2 dmg to enemy, increases accuracy of all weapons and increases melee dmg by 1
Medikit – receive it after boss battles, heals ½ of max health

Mechanics:
Trading mechanics – If you want to gain health, the enemy will ask for crimson fragments or an item. If you want to gain an item the enemy will ask for health or fragments, if you ask for fragments the enemy will ask for approx. 1 hp, ask for lunar fragments enemy ask for crimson fragments or hp, increase escape chances by giving first item in inventory, if you want non-perm hp enemy asks for first item in inventory.

Endgame – if storyline followed normally, you will have to fight 3 bosses at the end, before no skin man. These are the crimson dancers: Ce – who you will have to kill 3 times as she gives you 5 turns to kill her but then comes back to life and gives you 5 turns more twice, Nie – who you just need to kill once but she will summon mosquitos to take the damage for her and she will inflict permanent poison on you, and Pat who can act twice per turn. Finally, after these 3 you need to defeat No skin man (if you haven’t found the skin) 3 times.

Characters:
Noire- starter character, her starting item is nightshade, she has a base health of 6.
Root –she has 4 base health, her starting item is ammo, she has a gun with dmg 2 and accuracy 75 – if you kill the enemy with this weapon, bringing their health exactly to 0, you can choose from 4 mutations (max hp + 1, increase accuracy of ranged weapon by 15 but -1 max health, increase damage of ranged weapon but reduce accuracy by 10 and max health -2, increase max ammo of weapon by 1 and reload its ammo by 1)

Albiria – unlock her in the lunar store by purchasing ‘noble peasant’. Then you will eventually encounter her in game and have to defeat her to recruit her. She has 4 base health and her starting item is modest ring, which can be used infinitely as it returns to your inventory at the end of each battle. When used it deals the same dmg as the melee weapon, so I would recommend using it every fight because you are able to. Albiria has a sword which deals 1 dmg at an accuracy of 90. Each time you kill an enemy with the sword dealing the final blow, you level up and can choose to from 3 level ups which can be either: Heartbeat - max health +1; Cursed heart; Winter coat- 3 shield points, 3 temp health and some fragments; talaria – increase the accuracy of your weapons; Open wound - +1 to the first dmg you deal to enemy but weapon accuracy reduced slightly; Wartime supplies - +1 max ammo and reloads your long range weapon; Moon shield - +3 non-perm HP; Blade fragment - +1 melee weapon dmg, max health halved and suffer poison 1; Poison in the eyes – get nightshade x1. However, each time you level up the ‘Crimson Moon knight’ comes closer, and the max level is 9. When you reach lvl 9, you will have to first withstand attacks from the Crimson Moon knight without being able to attack, and then actually battle him. Tip: when withstanding his attacks, on his final turn he will launch a mega attack which he’ll tell you about before, use heart shaped glasses on your last turn to prevent dying as I had max health of 9 and died. Also tip: recruit crawling fossil beforehand and stock up on crimson fragments so you can heal yourself. MAIN TIP: if you have unlocked black market in lunar store (which you need to unlock by completing trish’s dream diary) I recommend buying the evasion skill to use from the black market before fighting the crimson moon knight. This is honestly very op considering you can’t attack him so all you can do is sharpen until eventually he misses everything.

Luna – unlock her by defeating ester’s dream diary, then purchase the upgrade mysterious girl in the lunar store to encounter her. Her base health is 2, and her starting item is a razor blade which you can use to lose all your health. She has an axe that deals 3 dmg at 55 accuracy. When you are about to die you lose X percentage of skin finding instead (X = 8 and doubles each time this effect activates) – its weird idk but then you can go into negative skin percentage

Occurrences:

Corrupted of the false god cult – random fight encounter that will ambush you after defeating an enemy. Once you kill it, it will explode dealing 1 dmg, so make sure you have more than 1 heart when you defeat it.
Frogs – can encounter them at any stage, can purchase various weapons/ upgrades, eg. Hunters knife –(base dmg 1, accuracy 95) replace melee weapon with it, when you hit an enemy you earn fragments (can be used to free the strangled man); Reload – when you kill an enemy with the ranged weapon, you reload its ammo by 1; emergency dagger- if you attack with your melee weapon and miss the hit, you attack again with the same dmg and 75 accuracy; Cult necklace – chance that cult enemies may not choose to fight you; Gun and torch – replace your ranged weapon with gun and torch (base dmg 2 and accuracy 80), when attacking even if you miss the shot, reduce the dmg you would take this turn by 2
Long-gilled fish – sells various items, in stage 1: ammo, nightshade, strange pills, lighter (if unlocked at lunar store), cigarettes. In stage 2: ammo, antidote, nightshade, gunpowder, dummy (if unlocked at lunar store), liquor (if unlocked at lunar store). In stage 3: heart shaped glasses, ammo, crucifix (if unlocked at lunar store)
Translator (Red room must be purchased from lunar store, can be stage 1 or stage 2)– choose from: +1 melee dmg but reduce its accuracy by 12, +1 ranged dmg but -1 ammo, or don’t read it and get increased weapons accuracy and +1 ammo
Son of the skinless (encountered in red room which must be unlocked at lunar store) - ??? enemy, can’t fight it but can only escape.

Stage/Phase 1:
Sacrificial lamb – if you kill it and eat, you suffer poison 1 but your max health increases by 1. If you offer it as a sacrifice to the false god, you lose 1 health but gain 2 non-perm hearts.
Mysterious girl – if you get closer to her, you lose 1 health but receive some crimson fragments
Hanged man – attempt to free, he gives you 9~11 fragments and 1 item (not worth it you lose hp). edit: if you have hunter's knife (from frogs) you can use it to free him without losing hp
Observe cult followers meeting -Attack a follower = lose 2 hp but can choose a gift from the goddess, offer a sacrifice = lose item but get half max hp recovered

Sharp knives - ??? enemy, can’t fight it but can only escape

Stage/Phase 2:
Bleeding mirror – appears in stage 2, if you stare at it, you suffer poison 4 but you can choose a gift from the goddess, edit: if you have pirate gun you can get the blessing without poison
Living guts: - proposes that your max hp halved and enemies have 1/3 less health – you can accept or decline
Deer headed man –can pay fragments to recover 1/3 of hp or earn an item or decline his offers.
Cowboy – you can choose if you want to play Russian roulette and if yes, there’s a 1/6 chance of getting dealt 4 dmg. If you win, you get crimson fragments and ammo
Crawling fossil - if you get it down to one heart and then talk to it, it will surrender and join your side. Sadly, you don’t get any crimson fragments or exp, but its useful because the fossil can heal you or attack, giving you two turns (e.g. if there is a devastating attack being charged you can pray to the goddess, then still attack but with the crawling fossil)
Leghold traps - ??? enemy, can’t fight it but can only escape.

Stage/Phase 3:
Underworld beast – if you are about to die, you can talk to it and it will let you go
Magpie – will ask for first item in your inventory in return for healing 1/3 of your health
Blinding light – will give you as much non-permanent hp as you have max health, but your max health is reduced to 2.
Floating arms – pay approx. 30 fragments for gold pendant option to get a gift from goddess; or pay 10 fragments for silver pendant and get an item.
Attend the ceremony- if you stab the bishop (requires dagger no. 48) your melee weapon dmg increases by 1.

Extra info:
-If you have cult robe and talk to the healer, you can recruit them. (I got cult robe from using miracle perk from crimson dancers (unlocked from lunar store))

added info from thomas066:
you can one shot burned alive and the woman with snake eyes by using the lighter,
you can one shot the priestess of the false god with the cult robe
-if you have the hunter knife for the hanged man you can free him without losing health
-if you have the pirate gun, you can get the blessing from the bleeding mirror for without getting poison

added info from berry benson:
when fighting a corrupted cultist, using the keys as &*%@$& and turned the enemy into a false god worshipper who can join your party if you have a crucifix in your inventory (he traded it for fragments)
Dude can either make you take two less damage or make you more accurate for a whole fight

(if you have any info thats not here, feel free to write it in the comments)

when fighting a corrupted (cultist?) I had an option to use the keys as &*%@$& and it turned the enemy into a false god worshipper who joined my party because i had a crucifix in my inventory (He traded it to me for fragments)
Dude can either make you take two less damage or make you more accurate for a whole fight

If you play Luna and obtain and use Star Dust, you can kill any enemy with ??? and get a special item. The items are a red Shard(Son of the Skinless), 2 damage consumable that permanently buffs melee if it kills the enemy, a stairway to heaven(Foot traps) that increases percentage gained per encounter, a broken necklace(noose) that does damage and heals based on the faith level. I never tried daggers, sorry.

If you play as a Luna and gain the ability to talk to a Follower in the first area, they can be recruited.

If you play as Luna, gain the ability to talk, and go backwards to level 1 enemies, they will have special secret dialogue, and Bags will have secret numbers for the Root memory.

There is another character that can be obtained when playing Luna. When you get to maximum negatives, you will fight a boss with a 1/100 chance to be hit by anything. It's best to have as many consumables as possible that can deal damage. I used the miracle blessing, the one that doubles consumables, as much as I could to achieve 300 random items that i spammed. Beating the boss unlocks the final memory, and the secret character can be found there. This memory also has exclusive secrets.

This Secret Character starts with a traitors dagger and traitors gun. The dagger is 90 accuracy and 1 damage. The gun is 85 accuracy 2 damage 4 ammo, and will always do critical damage on the last bullet(This makes reload very good). She has military supplies, an item that gives her 1 ammo with each new room unlocked.

With secret character, you must get dagger number 0.48 in a run. A new ending and mechanic will be unlocked.

I'm sure you've done this run too, but using snake scales or the purchasable from level 3 frogs causes one to exceed 100%. This leads to a battle with the man with no eyes, and then sequential battles until 148%. Here, there is a difficult final battle. No huge recommendations, a good run will do the trick.

There are also rumors that there is an ending after beating the game on Faith 9. I haven't gotten quite that far yet.

yeah there is something special on faith 9( absolute devotion) after beating no-skin man as usual, no eye soft aka the dev tell you that there is nothing more but ask if you want to challenge him one last time. If you accept it's a pretty rough battle, he wipe all your follower, reset your inventory to 4 specific item (don't remember what they were). He has 1 hp and like 10 shield point. Make sure you have floss between the teeth (deal 1 damage when hit) and rosary (melee attack when praying) to defeat him. I don't remember what he says when he is defeated
When you say crucifix do you mean cult necklace?
